Problem with throttle on '00 silverado
I have a 2000 silverado with the 5.3 motor and automatic tranny.
For the last few months the throttle has been doing this annoying thing where it sticks or feels like it's hanging up.
Does anyone know what could cause something like this?? Someone I know said it's the throttle body.... Appreciate any help!

yeah, it seems to be a pretty common problem on these trucks. it is caused by carbon deposits in the throttle body. just get a rag and some rubbing alcohol and clean the inside bore of the TB and the throttle blade. i cleaned mine and the problem went away.
