Default prices on motors

i found a 6 liter at a local junkyard seems like a good deal came out of a 05 2500 hd 30k they want $1400 comes complete intake to oil pan and all the accesorys. just wondering what you guys paid and if it seems like a good deal. thanks kurt

Thats a pretty good deal, I picked mine(05) up a lil cheaper, but was out of a wrecked truck, had head damage.. DO IT

i got my 6.0 just like you said from the intake coils down to the oil pan for 300 bucks with 33k on it...now its a 99 so it has a longer crank snout that needs to be machined down and had bad scoring in cylinder 7...it also came with iron heads but i just got 317s locally for $50 bucks...now i need to get some machine work done so probably by the time Im all said and done with gaskets and stuff like that it will prolly be what you'll be paying for a complete running engine...i would say go for it...

yeah do it. I think thats about how much they are at a "truck recycling" place here. Little more miles on the ones I've seen. Do it and dont turn back

If I could do my swap all over again, I'd just get a longblock. I would have saved a lot and we stripped my 6.0 down to a longblock anyways. Better piece of mind knowing all accessories, intake, fuel rails, etc is all good to go.
