Default Pray for us, we need it.

hope the mods let this stand here for a while. Grippy fight for me to hold it here.

we were told we had to get out by 10 am, my house is in chambers county along with my store.
borded up the house, grabed some clothes, the little woman, the dogs and got out.

so far it looks like from what the news is stating the eye and the strongest winds will hit my home and store.
the little woman is upset, she is more worried about losing everything then i am.
i keep telling her we can always rebuild.
i don't know about V8 aka Kevin he lives about 10 miles away from me.
01 Thunder is close to la port the order from them to leave was sooner then for us.

i will try to keep updates comming before power is out, after that it looks like we will be out for 2 to 3 weeks before i can log on and say anything.

just need a little help from my friends.
Dan

Well we're on the east side (worst side) this time around. Figured we'd be out of power for a while, but we got it back in 5 days, so maybe it wont be too bad. Our prayers are with ya'll

Likewise man. This is no freaking good. The wind is picking up here and my dog is acting pretty strange. The house is borded up, the generator is ready with a full tank of gas, and my baby is parked on the good side of my old mans old F-350 so it gets it before mine. I guess you would call it ready but I dont think its gonna be that bad for me. My prayers are with yall as well.

My prayers with you... had family in Lousiana when Katrina hit. The worse news... the storm might linger longer than a usual huricanne bc of a lack of a jet stream to move it along... good luck with everything.

Cool

Good luck to you! I see the hurricane has been downgraded to a category 3 so I hope that helps everyone out a little. Still a strong storm!
