Default power door locks issue

Well, my power door locks randomly stopped working. Neither the key fob (aftermarket I think... with the truck when I bought it) nor the buttons on the doors will work. Neither the passenger nor driver side power door buttons work in either direction. The lock will still move if activated manually on the inside or with the key on the outside. When I press the button I can hear something electrical under the dash click like its trying to hit the circuit with power, but nothing happens. There is no sound from the doors or elsewhere when the buttons are pushed save for the little clicks under the dash, driver side.

Anywhere I can start to troubleshoot what part died on me? Common occurrence?

Tried to search but didn't find anything like my problem here.

I'd start with the Door Lock Relay or the Retained Power Acc. relay, since both side quit at the same time. Normally it's the door lock actuator but I highly doubt both taking a puke at the same time.

There is a small chance the Body Control Module is fagging out, but that's a last resort to me. Check the relays and all your fuses first and then post up what you've found, and we'll go from there.

I know it's an old thread, but did you ever figure out what the problem was?

The power locks in my 2000 Silverado stopped working. It wound up being a blown 3 amp fuse in the interior fuse block.
