good thread James

1. Flowmaster 40
I liked the sound OK but it was costing me about 3 tenths in the 1/8th

2. K&n drop in
switched to a FIPK which yielded no better results

3 Precision Industries 10.5"
did'nt fit, build height was too short

about 3 different exhuast set-ups on old truck .
a set of 17's on the old truck , missed the 20's
the exhuast on the new truck , want it dumped with a magnaflow shouldnt have bought the tips and all

threw all of this in the ditch...
40 series flowmaster
hypertech
eldelbrock shorty headers
stock 60E
(3.42's one wheel wonder, fan and fan shroud, intake tube) > (all came with the truck)

E-fans.... Not necesarilly a good buy when running a Radix and a less-than-stock-vacuum-at-idle camshaft. I took mine off and sold them because idle tuning was unmanageable with a Thunder CheaTR cam. Now that I have the GT2/3 I sometimes wonder if it would work. Better safe than sorry, I decide not to try!

MSD wires
-didn't work with the headers

FM40 series
-swapped for quieter muffler

Escalade door handles
- swapped for Tahoe handles

Escalade middle engine cover
- swapped for Tahoe middle engine cover
