Is it possible to buy the flex duct on the OEM intake tube?

So if I find a 99 intake tube, the rubber piece will come off? What about the 96-99 Vortec intakes? If I remember correctly, they have an accordian rubber piece in their intake. I wonder if that would work, needs to be 3.5" on each end.

Don't know about the older vortecs. My 99 came in two pieces. It is not really rubber either. It is a semi hard plastic that was prone to cracking. I assume that was why they changed the design.
