Most of the really high power engines are just completely taking out their throttle blades now. may not sound like it will work because various different reasons that you should just ignore, but with your quadruple supercharged triple turbo'd direct port nitrous runnin' truck you need all the air you can get!

ok, the statement was bad enough but posting the image of yourself dancing so queerly was just over the top. if you have nothing worthwhile to say then just don't say anything.

HAHA really slow truck But seriously I have been wondering how to do this as well. I did the bumpstop grind and the coolant bypass, but how do you port and polish?

if you really wanna go through the trouble of doing it you could probably get it done with a dremel, but eastwood automotive (on the right) sells porting tools if you wanted to go that route. honestly i would just pay the 100 bucks for someone else to do it and know i wont be jb welding my TB back together after i hog it out too much (someone did that last year, i think it was jason 98 ta, cant remember for sure though)

but hiho, if you cant tell the difference between FLUFFY and a human being, i really dont think you should be porting your own throttle body lol. just a thought....

I did the EGR too. That isn't what I mean though. The bumpstop grind is where you grind the throttle bumpstop to where the throttle body will open to about 90 degrees. The way it comes it opens about 85 degrees. (just a wild guess) Use a voltmeter and grind until the throttle position sensor shows 4.67 volts when the throttle is open to the bumpstop. If you go to 4.70 or more it will set a trouble code. I will try to post a pic.
