Default Ported Throttle Body.

First off, Is there any gains to be had by this mod...signifcant? Has anyone done it themselves if so can you give me some pointers... I am pretty good with a die grinder if that is what you used. what do i port. Websites or pics would help a ton. Thanks again. Must go faster!!

i got that cam on my 5.3 the best i have hit now is 14.1 but i got the ps long tubes stall k&n air intake and its a sports side. oh its on street tires too. but i have the bbk throttle body .... good luck...

Has anyone ported a throttlebody or do you have to buy it like that?

i had a shaner ported tb and i think it hel;ped out a bunch up top.

i have the same as fx4 and think it helped up top too, but my butt meter isnt too accurate at all

i had mine done by bo white (ls1tech.com sponsor) he also did a large post on here about how to do it. he gives step by step details. it was well worth the money expecialy when you spray on it.

Ported TB doesnt give huge gains. Range from 3-8hp. But worth doing.
