poor 6.0

Dear GM,
Please put the 380hp 6.2l in your GMT900 1500. Your 6.0 is now out gunned by the toyota 5.7, new dodge 5.7 hemi, and almost 99% sure the new 6.2L boss ford engine. I know its a simple drop in, you can't fool us on that one. Screw the new CAFE standards and give me some torque!
Yours truely,
A power hungry GM fan
On a side note I like the bed side boxes.
Not sure how the coil spring is gonna hold up to real weight. My only experience with coil spring axles is the GM suv's and they really sag with weight http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/12/d...ough-the-gate/

And don't be too quick to give superiority to a 380hp 5.7 (next years Dodge). A 367hp V Max (last years Chevy) is not much different. Boss 6.2? By the time it's out, GM should have it's own OHC engine for better or worse.

In dieselpower mag they did a comparison between the V-max and the Duramax. That 367 in the v-max didn't stand a chance against the duramax. What we should be asking GM to do is get that new duramax into the 1500 series.

Dodge can take there 5.7 hemi. We have chevy power and not afriad to use it. All us 6.0's need is a tune and some go fast goodies and were walking with our heads up high and you may say that they can do the same thing which thats fine, its a never ending battle between us and dodge so well see what the good ol GM does for us in the future to put some land between us and our competition. On a side note a red cab deisel with a 6speed would be sweet. The power you can get from a diesel is just unmatched.
