my heads are done but i still have to go pick them up. the head guy is telling me i should get an egt gauge. he said something about the valves looking like they had seen some heat and the valve springs apearing to have been floating a little. i dont know how you can tell that but somehow i guess you can?

he checked the springs and shimed them to the proper height/spring presure and also did a complete valve job on both heads. they should be like new.

probably get the block back in a week or two

mind me asking who you had doing the head work? did you send them to AFR or did you have someone here in town do them?

jon wishman fixed it. aparently he fixes everyones blown out heads around here and everyone is happy with his work.
