Guess I will be the stand out.

I would like to you do the 4.8 with the 6.0 heads.
Larger valves, larger ports, larger combustion chamber for higher boost level.
Would be interesting to see the before stock 4.8 numbers then the after head swap 4.8 / 6.0 heads.
with the stock block the 6.0 heads should show allot more power.

I'm torn. The worst part about the 6.0 heads is the poor mixing that may result from the 6.0 heads combustion chamber measuring 3.930" wide and the 4.8 bore being 3.780". I say put some good fuel in the 4.8 and see what it can take. When it blows the head gaskets, then put some ARP studs on the 6.0 heads and see what you can get.

it is looking like the stock 4.8 with just springs. thats cool since i wont have to buy any head gaskets for that. too bad my track wont be open.

this is going to be fun

I voted for the 4.8L with springs. It'd be nice to see what the engine can take with a simple upgrade.

I voted for just springs. I remember you did this before on a stock 4.8 but the valves were floating at high psi. This ought to be interesting with the bigger turbo and only the strength of the stock internals to hold you back. Give it hell

my last trip to the dyno with the 4.8 it was completely stock. i was spining the wheels and floating the valves and got to just under 500rwhp. this time i will be hiting up a dynojet so that will fix the spining problem. now for the springs, this is just for fun. would you guys rather see a completely stock 4.8 with just valve springs or should i try some stock 6.0 heads with springs? if i do the 6.0 heads then i will stud it too. i am kind of leaning toward a completely stock 4.8 with springs.

i am not even sure if it will spool. should be interesting
