I got your PM Michael and can't send replys from this phone for some reason... There should be two boxes. One with the small studs and nuts/washers and the other has the rest of the big studs. Maybe itll be delivered Monday.

I'm looking into either stepped headers, or just 1 7/8 regular headers, either way, 3" collectors are minimum.

I didn't really fall in love with the truck as much as the simplicity of it and the power, there's really nothing magic going on with it... Just an extremely well matched and thought out setup.

No, its a basic reg cab stepside 2wd truck, dark green paint and tan interior. Its been hers since she was in high school. Its very well taken care of. I'm trying to get mine cleaned back up and 'nice' for her again. We can't really afford to go buy a new truck right now since getting the house and land so this is the next best thing till next year probably.

Oh brother. I wouldnt be surprised if my mailman never delivers it. The little box barely fit in my mailbox.

Ben what would you think of cam swap while were at it? Might as well do it at the same time right. No spring swap needed just straight cam

Shouldn't be a big deal we'll get you all fixed up. What cam are you going to?

It depends what is streetable. Im looking for a max torque cam that will shift at 6400 to 6500 max. The one i specd for myself has 9 degrees of overlap.

That sounds like a good plan! Personally i would just get a pull out 6L, and throw some heads (CR 10.5+ ) on it and a 228-232 sized cam, NNBS intake, headers like you mentioned and be done with the motor...

So which brand converter are you planning on going with?

With the 4.8/78mm/80E with stock converter it went 14.4s at 102 first pass was 14s, and the last pass was 14s hahaha the damn thing couldn't een do a burnout.

Looking at either a PI or Circle-D converter, depends on who gives me the best deal basically. It'll be a 9.5" converter. I may have to choose a higher stall speed if I buy one that's setup a little tighter for nitrous. Ill need it for the cam numbers I have floating around in my head...
