Yeah, some do and some don't. My old motor had 123,000 on it and it didn't do it. The one i just put in has 63,000, and it does at times... I wouldn't get rid of the truck, just stick a low mileage 6.0 in there, and enjoy the extra power, plus getting rid of the slap...
