I have a returnless setup so everything would have to be before the regulator....and I dont feel like converting to return just yet

Does this fuel pump have the check valve issues like the walbro 255? My walbro 255 has to prime before I can start my truck or else it won't fire. I could fix this issue by putting a check valve inline but I'd also like to beef up the fuel system while the tank is out and this pump looks pretty good.

It doesn't come with a check valve, but you can buy on to put on it. I put one on mine and it starts like it did with the stock pump.

Man I just don't get it I installed a walbro 255 in my 06 silverado and never had any priming issues or starting issues, but am going to install a new pump on my 01 will I have issues with it?

Could you use the Racetronix wiring harness instead of drilling the top of the bucket for the power wire?

Yep, I just did it like this cuz I had the stuff to do it, had it all apart, other wise I would have went with a kit.
