Default PCV valve issues..need some help.

so ill just get straight to the point, i have after market valve covers and they dont have the hole for the pcv valve to go into..the problem is, with the pcv valve hooked up to the intake, it does not want to fire up.. if i remove it, itll run and idle, but runs rough...any ideas what the issue is? do i have to tun the pcv valve? can it be tuned out? any help would be appreciated.

Anybody? Is it recommended to run the pcv valve?

Can you drill a hole and install a grommet on the valve cover to plug the pcv valve into (I say yes sight unseen)?

Are you speed density or MAF tuned?

and do you have any connection points on the valve covers?

You can run each valve cover to a "T" and then put a filter in it.. or put a checkvalve inline and run it to the intake?

its un tuned right now, but will be MAF tuned. i could drill a hole in my valve cover and reinstall it, but i really dont want to do that, unless its nessesary to run the pcv valve. just for some reason, it runs without i hooked up, and wont run with it..basically, it runs better with the vacum leak. lol
