Default Passenger side A/C blowing warm with dual CC?????

I have an 04 Z71 Tahoe with dual CC (non-digital controls) and even when the settings are all the way on cold, it blows warm on that side but ice cold on drivers side. Does this have something to do with the blending doors? Can someone give me some help?! Thanks in advance!

I've had this and several variations occur. Did u unplug ur battery recently? If so it cud have gone into failsafe/limp mode. There are a few remedies u can try before taking things apart:
1. just keep driving and cycling and it may correct itself (if its ur DD give it about a week);
2. unplug BOTH battery terminals, wait about 10mins (to eliminate residual charge), then touch both +ve & -ve cables together. It effectively reboots the PCM. Then reconnect and try it. U can do this once or twice.
Tho Ive done both (and both have worked) I really dont like this latter too often as just like a computer, they really dont react well over time to reboots!
Last, it could be the actuator doors that stick after a while. Mine have freed themselves up on their own (remedy 1) in the past, but others on here have replaced the parts. Do a search for AC or the doors and u shud get plenty of info. Good luck!!!

I believe the dual climate systems have a blend door for each side so it is most likely that the pass side blend door actuator is out.

I hate the ******* digital bullshit cj2 climate! I have been through this same ****. I pulled the damn cables off. put em back and started the a/c and moved each side the same all the way up and down a couple of times and it seemed to work okay.
