Yeah, there are two filters. WHen you flip open the little hatch, you see one right there. When you pull it out, there is another one further back in the same hole.
Yes, it was VERY DIRTY. I'm a non-smoker who spent most of the time driving my work commute in that truck. I guess thats 4 years of ozone pollution.

think of what your lungs look like...... from what i have seen at work they need to be changed on a hwy/cty driver about every 25-30 thous. miles. of course more if you are on dirt roads and such.
