I have some questions on how well it turns out to paint the door handles and tailgate handle and mirrors. I found mirror caps and door handles painted but I cant find the tailgate handle. Just curious if I should keep looking for a tailgate handle already painted, if they exist or just get it painted? thanks guys

 

what color parts are you looking for, I'll see if I can pull the numbers for them

 

not trying to jack but, while on this subject can u get me numbers on 07 classic dark metallic green.. i want the door buckets only? can i buy those painted already?

 

If it turns out that you don't have a color that h20son can find for you from the factory, you can have the handles painted to match and it will look great if done properly. Many have done it...search for "painted handles" or "painted mirrors" in the show and shine section and I'm sure that you'll find many examples

 

I'm pretty sure that the door buckets come as an assembly with the handle...

 

how much does it run at a body shop to just paint the mirrors and handles?

 

i got a quote for 20 each handle which includes snading them down smooth and 120 for both mirrors.. here in tx. i think he said baytown.

 

heard of any shops here around the dallas or austin area?

 

Door handles/buckets are usually available factory paint, mine were from a sub iirc. Mirrors take a lot of work to get right but man do they really make the truck!

 

My 05 is white with black mirrors and handles which doesn't look bad at all, but I think it would look much better all white.
