Default painting front

I am going to buy a new hood and while it's getting painted I am going to get the grill,plastic at top of bumper,and valance painted. Has anyone had any problem with paint sticking to this and what has went into painting this. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

I have not had any problem. Just make sure your paint guy uses a high build primmer and the proper amount of flex additive. I use a high pressure sprayer on mine from time to time because of bugs, and no problems.


BTW, moving to "GM Truck Appearance"

Yeah def make sure they use high build primer and plenty of clear coat. Paint will stick to it fairly well without primer but I have had to redo my bumper 3 times due to bugs and high pressure from the car wash. Also you can buy the grille shell and bumper cover already smoothed out, which could save headaches too.
