I see you went with the Stingrays III and the GY II 275/45/20. On the wheel wight thread, you mentioned this wheel tire combo comes in right at 60 pounds. About 10 ounds more than the stock wheels and tire. I was just wondering if you noticed a decrease in performance after getting these wheels and if you had better traction since its a wider tire? Thanks in advance.

Much better traction, not as much as I wanted but much better. It is a much better handling tire than I thought it ever would be. Is a little prone to vibration, and rides like a rock until warmed up, not bad, just a mile or two before it softens up. I got the stingray III's cause they are 8.5", and man they look sweet. Just so you know, the gussets offer no support, just bolted on for looks. I prefer BFG Comp T/A's. They have excellent traction for he straight line, handle just as well, ride nicer. I called a BFG tech, and asked if they would make a 275/45/20, and they said they would have one out in about a year! I like that tire size, since it is 29.7" compared to the 30" factory tire size. I felt a loss of acceleration, and I felt that I lost about .1 to .2 seconds in the quarter. They have one or two wheels that are lighter, but they are not as wide. These are 8.5" and help a little better.
