Damn...I missed the episode!

That sucks you don't work at Year One any more. My Camaros could use some finishing interior pieces.

My only gripes about Overhaulin' is that I want to see them do a build where they don't make it. I mean it's getting to be very formulaic. Also I want to see them restore a car back to original specs and not modify it. I think it would be just as hard to locate original, NOS, properly date coded parts and re-assemble it as it would be to just chop and cut. There have been some real survivor cars on that show that should've stayed original and stock that got Foosified. OK rant off....I'll be waiting for the re-run.

I know what your saying about keeping it original. I will tell you one thing. The dash pad in the car was cracked real bad and we finally found a Nos dash but they wanted $1200. My friend Isaac stayed on the phone for like 30 min and talked them down to $400... hehe an we had it next day. I can't remember who we got it from but it seems like they dont even make a repro.

that's cool man. congrats on being on the show.

I watched the episode and that 302 was actually pretty nice. I wonder how many pennies that baby cost?

I saw chip doing the Overhaulin at SEMA in vegas some weeks back. he seemed real cool and ended up signing a lot of memorabilia, even my sema pass

Yeah thats the one thing that stands out about Chip is he takes care of his fans. The 302 was pretty awesome and actually I just got my Hot Rod mag. and it talks about the Boss 302 engine is back. Its pretty cool for him to have the very first Boss 302 in his mustang.
