Thanks Gonzo. Can you PM me your number is case I break down in WA or OR?

I have movers coming in next week to haul off the household stuff since I doubt if the Jeep is going to sell. If I need to haul just that, I should be around 5k-6k lbs with with trailer and Jeep. The first test will be up through the Appalacians. If I'm not comfortable with that, I can drop it in PA since my Dad is interested in fixing it up.

acording the the yank web site the tt3000 is an 11" converter.

if someone were going to be passing thru the mountains every week i would recomend not going with that stall but one trip is a little diferent. he can slow down to 10mph if he needs to and with the mechanical fan there should be a lot of air flowing over the cooler(need stock fan and cooler!).

when i had my ecsb 4wd truck with a 6.0 and yank tt3000 my trans temps got up to 200deg even going thru the mountains up those long grades. i was 3000lb's less then he is looking at towing but i also had electric fans wich do not help. just my $.02 but i think he can make it thru one time if he watches the trans temp.

My truck pulls it just fine. When the trailer is loaded and quad in gas/water/gear people, its about 13.5K Lbs truck and trailer combined. We have a lot steep grades here sometimes you might climb 5k ft. in 10-12 miles.I like pulling those grades at 55-60 in high gear 1/2 throttle.

for those that dont know,3rd gear is high gear.....or direct
