I am kinda wanting to experiment with my truck. I was thinking about painting the things that are chrome on my truck and making them black such as the mirrors, the door handles, the entire bottom bumper/airdam and maybe even the 3rd brake light cover and the back chrome bumper. What do you guys think? How do you think my billet grille would look painted black also?

only if you get some black wheels to go with it heh. and im not talkin bout those cheap *** american racing $40 specials either.
spend like 5 billion on a set of 18" boyd's, then powdercoat them black and there ya go. You'd be tha pimptastic masta! <img border="0" alt="[pimp]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_pimp.gif" />

what about just painting the billet grille black only? i'm going to paint the airdam black anyway, but if i was going to paint something else might as well get it done at the same time.
what about doing like Nineball did on his truck (paint the red GMC black)

Personally, I think removing the chrome from your truck will make it look like a cheaper base model. I like monochromatic looks on cars, but for trucks it makes them kind of plain. Recently, Ford started selling their F250s in solid colors and those don't look as good as the normal paint/chrome ones to me.

yea what i was noticing on the guy on fsc's truck is that he painted the chrome pieces black which in turn ended up not matching the plastic pieces.
Ive decided just to leave the black/chrome scheme it has now, i still may paint the stock center section what was removed black just to play around with it.
