Default Open invite for Vegas

Not sure if anyone is interested but youre more than welcome to come:

About a dozen of us from SilveradoSS.com are heading to Vegas June 3rd thru the 5th. We'll be racing at midnight madness on the 3rd (friday) and partying the rest of the weekend. Theres gonna be a large group rolling out from So Cal to 'cruise' ( at 100+) there so if youre local and want to meet up shoot me an e-mail:

dylanvonkleist@hotmail.com

The whole thing is really informal so if you can't make it the whole time some guys are going to try and drive up late on Saturday and leave Sunday. Threres also guys coming from Nevada and Arizona.

Hope we'll see some of you guys out there

No joke! A friend of mine is spending the next couple of days in jail waiting to get in front of a judge. He has a new Porsche Ceyenne Turbo that he dumped about $20k into aftermarket performace (including bigger turbo, ic, exhaust, etc.) and one of those 'incognito' CHP cars got him at 166mph on the 15 back from Vegas

Lucky for him his dads a lawyer and already woking on keeping the CHP from taking his ride away from him permanently ... hes a dumbass for doing it... but it must've been fun while it lasted.

Wow, dumbass is right. I think if I wanted to do something like that, I'd head to the salt flats or something.....

If you're going to run the I-15 make sure you have a radar detector. I've got a Valentine 1. Let me tell you, it's the shizznitt. Not only does it tell you if radar is ahead of you, it tells you if it's behind you. And, it gives you plenty of warning. But if they use laser, you're screwed.

Good luck, be safe.

detectors can't help you against the air patrols... those are the SNEAKY ones.

Haven't seen any response to the invite, but just in case we're going to be meeting at the Krispy Kreme by the Ontario Mills mall and cruise the 15 to Vegas. Planned rollout time is 9-9:30am and we've got racing friday night, cruise to redrock for pics on saturday morning, and a kegger/bbq at a members house saturday evening.... PLUS all the gambling you can fit in...
