Default One very important safety item I'd like to mention

Seat belts: not your normal wear your seat belt post.

When buying/upgrading seats in your truck- please keep in mind that the seat belt is most likey USELESS. Seatbelts are generally one time use items. If a car was in accident that even came CLOSE to warranting being parted/totaled I promise the seats are no good (unless its real impact).

Our seats/seatbelts come together. I almost bought a set of SS seats off ebay. about 2 microseconds before I bid- a light bulb went off in my head and all the crash safety work I do for 8+ hours a day and the tests and the CAD simulations rushed into my brain. I called up a friend who works for TRW seat belts and confirmed the above.

while you might not know it, the seatbelts are used up. In an accident- your seatbelts will be worthless. Keep this in mind of you repair a vehicle too.

That is all.

I hope I didn't imply this, but you can definatley replace them. Its probobly cheaper to buy a whole new seat than to buy a used one and replace the seatbelt

Not if they are Leather!!!!

Yeah I agree, if anyone is looking at seats out of another vehicle, definetly look and carefully inspect the seatbelts and locking devices.
Stay safe guys

How much does a seatbelt assembly cost? just wondering.
