the one bad DRL phenomenon

I haven't noticed it but now I'll be looking for it. Mine are both good,so far but I turn them off when I remember unless the ambient lighting is poor.

my dad's old avalanche burned the drls out about 4 times in 2 years... havent had any problems on my truck...... yet. i definately notice it when im out driving around a hell of alot.. and im always checking my reflection as well lol

I got mine form the dealer. They are expensive...I think they were like $40 each. I tried the generic ones from Checker but I had a ton of problems with them. I would stay away from the generics.

I've been running amber long life bulbs in both my trucks and no problems at all, but I have always noticed the DRL Phenominon.

I read some where the power to the DRL has a pulse for some reason. Thats why the bulbs dont last that long and also why LED bulbs burn out extremely quick.
