Default old g techs

Do those 30 dollar g techs on ebay with the red numbers really work, are they even worth my time or do I have to spend over 250 for something with pretty lights and displays to tell me the same thing. I want to by one just checking with the proffesionals on it before I waste any money.

I have the $30 G-Tech and have no complaints. I realize it is not the most accurate device in the world, but it is great for establishing a benchmark and testing to see if your mods are paying off. If I want accuracy, I just visit my local track.

i had one awhile back, if you can't afford the newer one go with the old one. it was real acurate but is a bit of a pain to set up. it has to be leveled before the run.

I used one from the day they came out but I hated how it measured MPH differently and could be as much as 7mph too fast. It was also a pain in the *** the get perfectly level before a run. It did work well if you used it correctly. You just couldn't get the MPH right nor could you get 60'.

I do agree that they are a pain in the *** to get level.but like stated above it does serve it's purpose.

I like mine too....it works good if you can keep wheelspin to a minimum. It starts when your truck launches and if you are spinning (streets here suck) the time is ticking away.
