Think of how much money you will have put in the truck to make even come close to performing like GTO, plus it will never handle near as well.

I gotta admit ... I'm a sucker for that GTO, it's FINE. I'd consider getting one with the LS1 though.

You talked about getting an F-body, so that would be more along those lines. Check insurance and consider gas prices when making your decision too.

You will mod either. Thats a pretty moot point IMO. What do you want? Im getting a CTS-V at the end of this year, but I will probably keep the truck as well. Fast trucks arent very common. Quick little coupes are.

GTO! without a doubt in my mind, i would say get a goat.

I feel the same way. I have a lot more respect for guys driving trucks than cars. Men should drive trucks it's just how it goes. Nothing wrong with the GTO I have always liked the new ones. I would rather have your truck now than any of those others.
