Ugh... my pump is going out right now too. I didn't want to replace it with the stock pump but it looks like I have no reason not to considering I don't plan on doing anything to my Silverado.

you will not find an inline filter on your 2004 Silverado. That is what the sock is for


Glad you got it tracked down bro, now figure out a way to filter that fuel before you get debris in your fuel lines. You do not want anything making its way to an injector at WOT
