oil pan replacement

Default oil pan replacement

Has anyone tried to replace there oil pan with the motor still in the truck? Also how tough was it?

If you're a 2wd it should be pretty easy. Remove the k-member from under the pan, unplug the oil level sensor (and oil cooler lines, if you have them), and drop the pan.

If you're 4wd it's more difficult...the front diff has to come out first.
