No Oil Pressure ???
#11
Well it took a while to get it running again but it seems to be fine with no ill affects. Took the pump out and the relief valve was stuck open with a bit of dirt that got through the pickup screen. Cleaned it out and blew a little compressed air through the passage. I dunked the relief valve in a little Amsoil and put it back together. Seems to be running fine but I sure hope that it doesn't happen again. What a pain in the rump.
Thanks to LS1HowTo.com for the how to and to everyone that answered my post and to all the info doing a search on PerformanceTrucks.net
A special thanks to Rex for all the phone calls and great advice on getting this job done right. Rex's advice took all the worry out of doing the job almost like he was turning the wrenches himself. Way to go Jetmann!, Thanks A Lot!
