Default No AC at idle on 2000 Silverado

I couldn't figure out the best section for this so I used this one. At idle my 2000 Silverado blows hot air. As you drive it gets ice cold. Could it be the clutch fan? I have f body fans and a harness but I twisted my ankle really bad and haven't been able to work on anything. Coolant temp never changes btw. Help its been almost 100 every day this week.

Not getting enough air through the radiator at idle...had to deal with this for years until I installed e-fans.

I put a can in it yesterday. I'm not sure how much was in it so I'll buy another, clean the radiator and condenser, then install the efans. I hope it works because it sucks

Have you checked the fan clutch? I have had two friends with the same issue. Both times it was a bad fan clutch.

Check freon level, accurately. Then check to see whether the clutch on the compressor engages when you turn the a/c on. If it doesn't, you may have a bad switch, clutch, or a faulty compressor. Start with the cheap stuff and work your way from there. In other words, it may just be a bad switch or low freon, so don't replace your fans when it could be a much cheaper solution.
