it comes with wood grain inserts and ive seen tahoe's with brushed aluminum inserts.does anyone know how these inserts snap in or are they interchangable because i like the look of the brushed aluminum. why wont gm offer this from factory? why is it i always want what i cant get

 

Back when I worked as temp at GM last year, I noticed that the Chevy SUVS got the woodgrain if above LS trim, and the LS got the brushed metal if LS or under(snazzy looking).. But GMC got shafted and would end up with some BS mix/match woodgrain/brushed metal look.. Made me sick lol. A little off topic, but bleh.

i noticed the same thing, the avalanche has brushed aluminum as well, I have on 07 ltz
on order and would like the alum rather than woodgrain.
i will check with my dealer tomorrow and post up if you can buy the panels
