hahaha, mpg, mpg, mpg haha.
scott, you will pleased to hear that whenever i do start a new project mileage will be one of the highest goals. i am thinking low 9's, quite, smooth, fun, and 25mpg.
i was thinking about a big bore short stroke small displacement ls1 with a large turbo in a package under 4000lbs. gear it tall and keep the cam small and let it lug along at a low rpm.

LOL. Mileage kicks ***, we beat the **** out of anyone anywhere NEAR our times on drag week and we pulled three times the mass of anyone else on the same trip. You get off on the timeslips, I get excited about the gas receipts!

I have to think that truck would be worth $50K to someone out there for sure.

I see a TB SS in your future!! Hmmmm... Ls2 408 stroker, LS7 heads, twins, 4l80e, Nitto dr's on stock rims, would be able to hid the cage better if you did. Well sounds like the ulimate street racing, money making, sleeper suv. I think this would be ticket to good looking truck and nobody would be the wiser.
