They really depends on the dealer. If they wont tell you then good bet is they wont cover any modifications. Find a dealer that really knows what their doing and that can answer those questions. I am guessing you put a stock transmission in. They might cover modifications to the transmission if they do the install of the products. It's kind of thrown up in the air depedns all on the dealer and how much of a pain in the ars they are.

very understandable. but what they dont know cant hurt them, let's say you blow the thing up, how are they going to know what is add on's. Shift kit, servo whatever. These guys usually doing the work don't care and most of them couldn't tell the difference anyway. put a converter on the thing you will be much happier with the driving and performance. Plus that shouldn't do anything to the warranty. As I said shouldn't. Hell if they want to be sticklers they could tell you NO becasue you have already made modifications to your truck and warranty is already void.

I would put a shift kit in it if you want it to last. Get it installed RIGHT though. The Trango kit that comes with a video fixes a lot of things that cause the trannys to be weak. That and some servos would be a nice addition to firm up the shifts and help it last.
