Yeah, I saw that somewhere too.
If they really want to call it a SS they should drop a hot 8.1L in it.

No AWD.From what I seen it will have the 5 link rear suspension from the trailblazer,3.73 gear,K&N filter and modifiedair box, factory headers with dual cats on the 6.0 liter. Also have a cloth bench seat with no carpet just a rubber floormat. But hey for $23,000 who can complain. It may not beat the lightning but hey for $23,000 you can afford a supercharger and sit back and blow the ford's and dodges away.

Do you have a link or anything showing where you got that info? I was hoping maybe there are pictures... I'm finding the rear suspension idea intriguing. Thanks in advance for any info you may have!

the info is in the new hotrod, they make it sound like it is a sure thing, i can take a pic of it and email it to one of you if you can post it somehow.
they are saying 10.5-1 compresion and a prety big cam. 208 at .544 and a 6speed. seems to me this thing should run prety hard.
edit... i just read the link above and it tells alot more than the hot rod article i have. i think this thing will smoke a stock lightning, more rated hp and less weight and a 6sp, i might have to get me one.

Thanks for the info, guys! The link is pretty informative. I wasn't too crazy about the new front end, but for some reason it looks right on the SS...
I really like the idea behind it - it's even got strongarm steering? I better start hitting the gym... I'll believe it when I see it, though...
