I just have to let my hair grow out a bit so I don't bleed to death when I shave. I use a mach3 with shaving gel after a hot shower which has been the best way for me. Still gotta cut in 3-4 different directions to get a smooth shave.

Anyone use any good softening gels/creams? I've tried a few and they don't do much good. My hair is like little stainless steel wires.

um, I just use a Norelco with flip out trimmer. Like most electrics, it does pull, but, if it starts pissing me off, I just use the trimmer, then smoothen it out.

does the job.

if you bleed/cut easy, why not just go electric. takes a bit longer, but pulling hair < slicin your face up

now if you jam the things up, you got a problem
