That's kinda the plan. I'm thinking 2500'ish after all the safety stuff, cage, 4 link, etc. A pretty wild heac/cam ls1 should be pretty mean.

I do wanna keep it streetable, but not by any means daily drivable.

I'd put a turbo charged 408, That should get it into the 8's.

 

Holly crap it would, but man at 8 sec id be afraid of diing and not being able to race again

 

I seen a s10 at the track once that had twin turbos and ran mid 7's. What was werd was it was so quiet until he floored it.
