Default new mini's

ha my friend just spent like 37k on a new mini with dual sun roofs and all the options plus the "crate motor" from them with a whole 210Hp and when he took my friend for a ride before i saw it they were both thinking it would beat my truck . so he calls me on the way to work and asks where i am at and i tell him, and he is right behind me . so when he catches up i take him from a forty roll with a downshift into second gear on my auto and show him what the business end of a chevrolet look like. he comes up again after i slow down and then tries to do it again i noticed when his car bucks and starts to go forward poor guy still did not stand a chance and got mad and turned off pretty fancy looking though especially with the two sunroofs. plus on the way home from job number two and getting ready to go to job number one i had an eclipse like a mid 90's model with a guy and his G/F in it and he would not stop embaressing himself any who though you might like to hear thanks for reading

I like those little cars. Was his a Cooper or Cooper S? The S is supercharged with an Eaton M90. I have no idea how they run, but I would still like to get my fiance one. They are suppose to get some awsome gas mileage, and it's a 4 seater. Admittably, not very big 4 seats, but still a 4 seater. She seems to like them too, so one day, unless something else comes out she and I like better, we will prolly get one.

not just the s but the one with the special order motor and everything that is why the hp is 210 vs like 170 or something like that

Isn't it front wheel drive? That's the only thing I don't like about it.

All I can think of is Mr Bean.

I work with a guy that has one with fog lights on the hood, stripes, and some custom plate that says "sprcrg" or something. Every time I see the car, it's parked in some new creative tight parking spot.

I'm too insecure about my manlyness to drive one...

I think they would be a blast to drive. It should handle like it's on rails as small as it is. It's a BMW produced car too, so that should help it out as well.
