There is no gaurentee I dont get laid off in 6 months or a year. I can just ride the wave and save a little incase of a rainy day. My cousin has done this stuff for almost 4 years and is up to @ $400k year. Hopefuly one day I'll get there.
My job title is Electrical Field Service Technician. Finaly my electronics background is going to make me money. I was only making $2,700 month doing custom interiors for personal jets. WAY underpaid.
As far as getting anyone else a job, no can do. I was one of the last people accepted, and it took me since July to get into the oil field. Its one of the best paying and hardest to land it seems.
No Z06 for me, I hate cars. They are awsome and all, but I'd take a 11 second truck over a 10 second car anyday. I wonder how hard it is to get a rclb LBZ 4x4 into low 11's or high 10's. That could be fun.

surprised you aren't making 20K a month. Not like the oil industry whom made 80 BBBBBBBBBBBBillion (80,000 Million) dollars in profit couldn't afford to pay the subcontractors more. LOL
Get your daily ride stable and moderate and then spend the dough on a project truck is my opinion.

Its $150K the first year and goes up every year after, so I'm not complaining. The yukon is staying with the wife for her daily driver. 3 kids and all she needs it. She did tell me she wants a Toyota Supra turbo though. We'll see. The new Cummins for 07' are the 6.7L and have 350hp/650tq. Pretty much right there with the Dmax, but the mega cab daully looks awesome. Still the Dmax has the potential to be really fast very easily.
So should I get a Radix or front mount turbo for the Yukon? I want it to make good power but still be a reliable daily driver and get good milage. Cant afford those high gas prices. LOL

Let me know if they have another opening

IMO a radix would be best for a soccer mobile and that heavy of a truck. I would pay off the house and throw the rest in the bank and retire EARLY. Also I would go for the megacab, there is SOOOOOO much room in one of those suckers. Reclining rear seats with tons of storage behind them
They can be made fast too.

The MegaCabs are awesome. There is even enough room behind the rear seat for subs, and still recline!!! Overhead DVD system too for the kids, not that you could hear it over the 5" stacks.
I talked to the Dodge guy already and it will be a special order thats gonna take 8 weeks to get here. I love rushing into things.

If there's a chance of you getting laid off in 6months or so, I'd prolly TRY to save as much as I could for awhile...54000 for a mega cab 4X4 cummins, then say another 20000 for another modded out truck like you want...12K a month won't last long like that...But I like the way you think, mostly the same stuff I'd do. Invest some of that **** though
