The MegaCabs are awesome. There is even enough room behind the rear seat for subs, and still recline!!! Overhead DVD system too for the kids, not that you could hear it over the 5" stacks. I talked to the Dodge guy already and it will be a special order thats gonna take 8 weeks to get here. I love rushing into things.
Well just give me a call if they have another opening.

What company is it? My company may do work for them we are the leading construction testing lab in Austin(Terracon).

My job title is Electrical Field Service Technician. Finaly my electronics background is going to make me money. I was only making $2,700 month doing custom interiors for personal jets. WAY underpaid.

As far as getting anyone else a job, no can do. I was one of the last people accepted, and it took me since July to get into the oil field. Its one of the best paying and hardest to land it seems.

No Z06 for me, I hate cars. They are awsome and all, but I'd take a 11 second truck over a 10 second car anyday. I wonder how hard it is to get a rclb LBZ 4x4 into low 11's or high 10's. That could be fun.
congrats dude...i have been in this stuff for 30 years and im up the ladder as well....see my project truck in my sig it's worth it...im only supposed to work 14 on/14 off but kinda been working alot more lately...more work = more pay

So should I get a Radix or front mount turbo for the Yukon? I want it to make good power but still be a reliable daily driver and get good milage. Cant afford those high gas prices. LOL[/QUOTE]

the radix makes for a hell of a daily driver...turbo for fun!!!

Nice man. 1 yr and 6 months give or take and I should have a similar jump. LSX 483 for my truck, and then a Z06.

I am with everyone else though, enjoy your new cash but make sure you save.....that early retirement **** goes away pretty fast if you like toys like we do.

The company is out of Houston. I dont really think I'll get laid off in 6 months, the oil field isnt like that. BUT, I will be saving just in case. After digging up info on the 6.7 Cummins I think I'm going Dmax. The Dodges have WAY to much smog **** and the tuners will be a ton of money. A Dmax will run 12's really easy and be a great daily driver for me.

I think the Radix does sound nice, so it will be one of the first things I get.

I have about 3 months of training first. Then off to make the big bucks. I dont really know when I'll have time to play with projects once I do get the money. This job has LONG hours. I may end up saving most of it, not because I want to but because I'll be working all the time.

I know your right. My garage will be full of UPS boxes when I get home. I need to get me a new DD though, so my wife can keep the Yukon for the kids. Maybe I can special order a new rcsb chevy and have it delivered. I'll just tell my wife to pile the UPS boxes in its bed.
