Hello everybody. New here, just wanted to pop in and intro meself - I just picked up an 04 Yukon with the 5.3, HD tow package, 3.73 locking, etc and I am starting with a clean slate on perf. mods. I am looking for bolt ons only so as to prefent warranty issues. plans call for a UDP intake, Magnaflow catback system and a performance tune, billet grill, billet dash inserts, roll pan, 22 Intro Vistas and some other minor cosmetics. I have been reading this BB non stop for three days and I like what I see. I am a long time member over at Team Chevelle (I also have a 70 Chevelle SS 396 (414 CI) 4 spd, 10.25 - 1 comp, 4.10's out back) and was recommended to visit this site by the guys there. I have very little late model SB knowledge and frankly the electronics and such intimidate me a little bit so I hope to milk your brains on this truck build up. Anyhow, looking forward to working on this sucker with all of you adn squeezing as much out of her (sans a supercharger, cam, heads or intake swap) as I can. rock on, see ya's round -

Thanks guys. SAAAAWeeeet rides. I hope to get there one day. After purchase of aformentioned Yukon I need to recoup a bit and then start tackling the mods a piece at a time. Now I 've read up on ASP pulleys and LS1 fans so I am going that route as well.....now, where'd I leave that lotto ticket........

 

There are a lot of knowledgable guys on here... I am by no means an amateur wrenchhead but these guys are way over my head.

I am on here everyday unless my comp is dead and I always am amazed at the amount of knowledge you can get by reading, reading, and reading some more.
