Default new escy cluster- trans guage not working

ok, just installed my escy cluster, and i'm not sure if the trans temp guage is working. it's about 50 degrees outside, so maybe it just didn't warm up enough. however, i did replace the trans (4l60e) a few years ago with a new GM unit, i wonder if the new trans has the sender in it as well? haven't crawled underneath to check harness connections yet, anyone know which side of the trans it is?

it takes a while for the trans to heat up. Take it for a long test drive and see if it moves at all. Also, if the gauge moves at all when you turn the key it should be working
