Went to the track it was fun, but suck at the same time. 2nd round of eliminations, got caught sleeping at the light, pull a .243 R/T, and was out. PLus the pickup threw a code in time trials. so the pickup was up and down on E.T. time. Loser's race didn't go much better. Pickup needs to be tuned in the worst way. But have a new best time of
15.2 @ 88.7 mph. Since the cam(which is untune now) my 60' time are very bad
. 2.3 was the worst and 2.25 was the best. seem the motor is all top end. Last June(before cam) easy due a 2.1 to a 2.08 60'. But also pull my first .068 R/T, Deep stage here, I am usually cut a .103 r/t. On a good note import parts(aka ricer) were all over the track. mostly axles, grease and oil.
This is not the what I was hoping for(break into 14's). But I think the motor has been a dud ever since I brought it. I am thinking regear will help out alot, due to 33' tires and 3.73's and 6100 lbs of truck. Winter will bring alot to getting this thing done, Hopfully spring time I can throw money at it, I am pass most of the cheap stuff add-on, now.
