the NEW avalanche

KeukaZ71, if you don't mind me asking how much are you getting paid in NJ. I am a 4th year teacher here in Texas and I am gettig paid $34,500 plus tutoring @ $20/hrs 4 days/week. It comes out to 36.5k/year for 186 days/yr. Its not bad, but I hear Texas is one of the lowest paying states for teachers. I have a BBA-CIS and use to work in the IT field. I used to make more money but the working conditions sucked. I sould never go back.

shark_g, what didn't you like about the IT field? I'm thinking about taking classes again to get a degree in computer science. Not sure what area I'll focus on yet though. Aside from my normal job as a CNC operator/programmer, I work on computers for people in my free time at home and I do some networking too.

I'm gonna get off the subject here, but I want to make a comment about the Avalanche. IThe way I understand it, it is supposed to be redone a little and have smother body line like the Caddilac EXT and no cladding. My main vise on them is the square wheel wells. The Caddylanche uses the same fenders as the Escalade.

I just saw a red one at the dealer and it is NICE. They got rid of the cladding, and the Avalanche front clip has been retired and replaced with the new 03 Silverado front clip, so the squared fender flares are gone (I think).
