Several of you might remember my recent post on this exhaust leak I had and could not find where it was coming from. Well today I found out it's not a leak. It was acutally just engine noise that was going into my cab through where the power cable for my system runs. I feel like a dumbass now....
Anyhow, as you all can see, in order to the run the cable through, I had to push the rubber cup inside a little and is not making contact with the metal.
Today, I actually took the power cable out of there and put the rubber cup back in place and took my truck out for a drive. Man... what a difference did this make. The truck is just so much quaeter now. There is now ay I am running the power cable through there again.
Where do you all suggest I run my power cable now? Pica would be nice.

I ran mine through that same thing, but instead of doing like in that pic, I took the grommit apart, the inside pushes through and then the outer part will come out, and ran it through there.
