Default Need help on brakes

I have a 2005 Chevy Avalanche that I recently put on 22" factory reproduction TBSS wheels. I feel the truck from stock had poor brakes. I have replaced plenty with drilled rotors with a good response.

My question is I have went with Baer Decela rotors and pads before, but they just marked up their prices as I have been watching and pads and rotors all the way around is going to be about $900. Autoanything.com has a set of stoptech drilled and slotted for about $600. I know they are common for imports but not sure for a fullsize truck? I am torn between money.

If anyone has some input it would be appreciated.

Better pads. In my opinion factory rotors do well enough. You're not auto-x so no need really for all that extra venting and losing surface area. Just go with high performance pads. IMO
