just got back from the dealership today. iam trying to trade in my SS in on a GTO. i didnt haggle much yet except for getting 2000 more put on the trade in value of my truck. right now i have my truck at trade in for 25,000. i went to carmax before hand, and only would have recieved 23,000.

anyways, i can get the GTO for my SS and $5399
its a brand new 05 cyclone grey manual six speed.

did you think there is any room for movement on this deal?
iam thinking about asking for 4000 or 4500 and my truck. what do you think?

the base price for the GTO on the employee discount thingy is $30,293. then they give me 25,000 for my truck, and a 500 dollar veteran discount, and then they add all the place charges and what not.

does this sound like a good deal, or do you think i could get better out of my truck??

It sounds like a decent deal. But I don't see a dealer giving you much more than that for the truck. How many miles does your truck have?

Check the KBB on your truck and trie to get a few thousand more than the KBB trade in value... Because when They sell it it will probably be for around 30k...
