hey so i got a 05 z71 with true duals with glasspacks and a spectre intake and 285s on 17s, how bad will a 6.0 powerjoke beat me with a bully dog. is there any thing i can do real quick and cheap to get an edge? btw what spark plugs and wires should i run

 

look at it this way you probably have around 300hp and 350FTpounds him probably around 400hp and 800Ft pounds. so unless you have more power then him you really dont stand much of a chance just hope he doesnt know how to drive.

 

Might be close with the weight advantage. Stock plugs/wires until you mod up.

oh well went ahead and threw some new plugs in, it was bout time anyways, didnt run him today though, but its not always about power numbers in a race, its gearin, weight, engine revving rate, shift points...
thats why it takes a diesel twice the power to run with a gas burner

The quickest thing you could do is find a local tuner to hook you up with a custom tune. That will help a little.
