Default My Yank is back!

After sending it off last monday, the fedex man brought it back to me today. I was plesently suppried it only took a week to get it back. Mike said he added 150-200 more rpms to it so maybe it will be even better than before. Now I just have to get in touch with one of my buddies with a lift and get that sucker back in!

was there anything wrong with it initially? or were you just sending it back for a higher stall?

No, I blew up my tranny the day after installing my 2k vette cam so I had to send my TT3000 back to have it cleaned and checked out. The bad thing is I have been on a stock converter since the week before Christmas. I am so ready to get that sucker back in. I have to call a friend today to see when I can use the lift.

Well it went in without a hitch. It does seem a bit looser that the first one but I havent driven it much yet. Last night on a little 3/4 throttle hit in second, it shot up to ~3100 on the tach. So the way it is now, I think it may flash around 3200 from a dig with traction. At one stoplight I stalled it up about 1K and hit it with about 1/4 throttle on the green and it broke the tires loose so I think I am going to be severely traction limited in the street now. Cant wait to get a few more breakin miles in so I can hammer on it and see what it will do.

luckily w/ the ext. cab, i wont have to worry about breaking traction to much, with the extra weight.
